In my opinion, it is impossible for every rich girl to act like a well-behaved princess, but Sara, the heroine of the novel, did it! She was an imaginative little girl who had such intelligent small face and such perfect manners. Sara was a very nice girl who had a gentle, appreciative ways of saying, such as “If you please” “Thank you” which was very charming. So, not only her teachers and classmates liked her, but also her servants liked her.
There was a time when Sara became a poor and pitiful servant insulted by the snobbish headmaster of the school. In spite of this, she had never complained to anyone about the horrible suffering she had endured. The story of Little Princess tells of Sarah Crewe, an English girl in the 19th century. Her mother passed away shortly after she was born. At the age of seven, Sarah Kru was sent by her father, Captain Kru, to Miss Mingqin to start a senior girls boarding school. Later, when Miss Mingqin learned that Sarahs father had gone bankrupt and died, she threw her into a dilapidated attic and asked her to work day and night. However, she did not despair and still maintained the noble qualities of a princess. When she was hungry, she handed her bread to street children; She braved the wind, snow, and cold, taking an extra turn just to return the money she found. Although life was difficult for her and Becky, they had an optimistic and uplifting heart. They can imagine thin sheets as down comforters, and dry and cool black bread as delicacies from the mountains and seas. When we all sympathize with their lives, they laugh so brightly. Finally, happiness once again favored her. Her father, Captain Krus friend, came here with his huge inheritance after his death to search for Sarah, and now Sarah has become a noble person again. The princess shines brightly. But Sarah didnt feel proud to become a princess, instead she went to help a beggar on the streets - Anne helped her live a good life.
After reading the book The Little Princess, I understand a truth: being a little princess or a little prince doesnt necessarily require fancy clothes. The Fulitang Palace has a noble and elegant temperament, but it must have these conditions: in times of disappointment, one must remain calm and keep hope alive. When angry, be gentle and polite, and know how to control yourself. When you are happy, you should understand gratitude and learn to share with others, so that you can be a true little princess like Sarah.
